Status & Jurisdictions
Once a classification is running, you can track its progress, extend it to additional jurisdictions, and manage its review status as it moves toward approval.
Step 1: Run the Classification
Click Run classification. The product page opens and shows how the system is interpreting your input, including an Attachment Analysis that describes what was extracted from any uploaded image or document. A classification usually takes a couple of minutes and runs in the background, so you can keep working or leave the page while the result is generated.
Step 2: Add More Jurisdictions

While the classification runs, or at any time afterward, click Add jurisdiction in the top right corner. Search for and select the jurisdictions you need, such as the European Union and Argentina, then click Add jurisdiction(s). The classification starts automatically for each new jurisdiction, and you can switch between them using the jurisdiction selector at the top of the page.
Step 3: Review the Results
When the results are ready, the HS code appears on the product page. The first time you open a completed classification, its status automatically changes to Review.
Step 4: Update the Status
Use the Status dropdown in the top right corner to reflect where the classification stands in your workflow. Available statuses are Draft, Review, Needs RFI (more information is required), RFI sent (the information request has been sent), and Approved.
